The Leesfield Family Foundation joins the American Jewish Committee in honoring Ambassador Paul Cejas with the 2014 National Human Relations Award.
On December 10, 2015, Ambassador Paul Cejas, whose distinguished career includes serving as United States Ambassador to Belgium, was honored in Miami, FL with the American Jewish Committee’s National Human Relations Award, for his significant dedication to the betterment of the nation and community, and for his unwavering commitment to philanthropic endeavors. The Leesfield Family Foundation was a major supporter of the event. The gala dinner and ceremony took place at the Freedom Tower, where over 300 friends, family, colleagues and dignitaries from around the world gathered to pay tribute to Ambassador Cejas. The award is presented annually to a civic or business leader demonstrating exceptional work in preserving America’s democratic heritage. Ira Leesfield, who served as co-chair of the event, presented the award to his longtime friend.
