Having a father makes a significant difference in a child’s life. For years, research has shown that fathers strengthen the social, emotional, language and cognitive development when involved in all aspects of raising a child.
The Leesfield Family Foundation is a proud sponsor of Fatherhood Task Force of South Florida, a Miami-Dade County organization, headed by Holly Zwerling, President and CEO, whose mission is to educate and guide fathers to become the best they can be, providing education and encouragement to re-connect and engage with their child.
We congratulate Fatherhood Task Force of South Florida for its initiative and efforts in promoting “Fathers in Action and Advocacy Week,” and hats-off to all the men who were honored and recognized this week for their extraordinary involvement in their children’s lives.
