The Leesfield Family Foundation was a “Key Lime” sponsor at the 2013 Claws for a Cause event on Sunday, October 14, 2013 at Joe’s Stone Crab on Miami Beach benefitting the Children’s Home Society of Florida. The event is held every year as Joe’s Stone Crab graciously opens its doors one day prior to its stone crab season. Hundreds of Miami’s most prominent professionals and their families gather every year to support Children’s Home Society and help children and families in the organization’s program. The Children’s Home is a leader in providing community based solutions to meet the needs of over 30,000 children every year, with a wide range of social services, including emergency shelters, foster care, adoption, counseling, child abuse prevention and intervention services.
