Occasionally, the Leesfield Family Foundation is privileged to support a very worthy and deserving charitable organization outside of South Florida. The Tomorrow Fund for Children with Cancer fits that description.
The organization was founded in 1985 by doctors, child life specialists and parents of children with cancer, who wanted to help patients and their families with the traumatic financial and emotional effects of childhood cancer. The dream of having a local oncology clinic dedicated solely to the care and treatment of children became reality in 1995 with the opening of The Tomorrow Fund Clinic at Hasbro Children’s Hospital in Providence, Rhode Island, now recognized nationwide for its outstanding medical treatment and compassionate approach to children suffering with cancer.
