LFF proudly announces its sponsorship of the 5th annual Marques Butler Memorial Softball Tournament which took place in Key West on February 15-16, 2014. The two-day massive sporting event honors the sportsmanlike spirit of Marques Butler, who passed away in 2009 at 23 years of age. The Marques Butler Memorial Scholarship Fund will provide financial assistance to college-bound Key West High School student athletes who exemplify the strong moral character and sportsmanship displayed by Marques throughout his life, both on and off the field. We join the Butler family in honoring Marques, a special young man, who touched so many lives with his genuine joy.
